Victoria and Tasmania Payment Region - Exclusive - 2026/2027
We are required by clause 12(2)(b) of the Dairy Code to publish on our website a statement of the circumstances in which we would enter into a Milk Supply Agreement with suppliers in the standard form for each region.
Region – Victoria – Northern Victoria and NSW – Southern Riverina – As far north as the Riverina region (excluding Wagga Wagga) across to the north east of Victoria, south to the Shepparton and King Valley areas and west to Swan Hill. Gippsland – As far east as Briagolong, as far south as Wilsons Promontory, as far north as Neerim North, as far west as Yarra Valley. Western Victoria – Within 50 km radius of Cobden. Tasmania – north east region of Tasmania – northern region to Winnaleah, eastern region to Ringarooma.
Milk Requirements – 275 million Litres per annum
Commencement date – 1 July 2026
⦁ You must hold a current Dairy Food Safety Licence and comply with all regulatory requirements relating to the production of milk.
⦁ Historic compliance with Lactalis Australia Pty Ltd quality standards and quality assurance program or proof of compliance with another processor’s quality standards and program.
⦁ You can supply milk all year round.
⦁ You can comply with the terms and conditions of our Milk Supply Agreement, including compliance with all our Group policies and procedures. A Lactalis Supplier Relationship Manager will visit new suppliers to ensure that the standards required can be met.
⦁ Sufficient production capacity for a minimum milk collection 800 L (milk no more than 48hrs old).
⦁ You can provide safe tanker access and logistically efficient for us to collect.
⦁ We have not already entered into sufficient milk supply agreements to meet our annual demands for milk in the region at the time a supplier offers to enter into this agreement with us.
Following completion of Lactalis’ acquisition of the Mainland Dairy business in March 2026, Lactalis Australia and Lactalis Mainland form part of the Lactalis Group of Companies. We may take into account the interests of the Lactalis Group as a whole, including in setting the minimum price and in exercising our rights under our Milk Supply Agreement.
